Celebrating Youth Entrepreneurship

On the 14th of November 2011 SAB KickStart will host a panel discussion, followed by an exhibition and gala awards dinner to celebrate and mark the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2011 (you can read more about the events on our latest events section on the bottom of the page).

Join Xolani Gwala of SAfm as he facilitates the panel discussion, which will discuss challenges and issues facing young South African entrepreneurs.

The discussions will be live on (14th November) SA FM starting from 11:00am – 12:00pm. You can catch an SAB representative on Siki Mgabadeli’s show (9am – 12noon) on SAfm prior to the live broadcast of the panel discussion.

What is KickStart?

KickStart is a youth entrepreneurial programme that was launched in May 1995. It is aimed at youth that either want to start businesses or expand their existing business. KickStart is mainly focussed on inculcating a culture of entrepreneurship among young people. Over the past six years, KickStart has become one of the largest entrepreneurship development projects run by a private sector company.
